The market is adjusting to less sales and higher interest rates. However, we aren’t going to see the real effects on pricing for months. Our dollar volume and number of sales are down over 42% from last year. Numbers are trending closer to 2019 numbers prior to the pandemic. Average pricing remains strong and we aren’t seeing any major dips in pricing yet. With less sales and a larger gap between list and sale price, I am expecting pricing to plateau over the next 6 months.

Owners can choose to place their property in the SV rental pool, hire a property manager or manage their rental independently. Ketchum recently passed some restrictions on Short Term Rentals. Properties affected by the restrictions are older complexes that do not meet safety requirements and properties within an avalanche zone.
