Sun Valley Round Up
Labor Day weekend events were undisturbed by the real news story of the valley: FIRE.
All twenty six units at the Limelight on Warm Springs road are a “total loss” due to a residential fire. Many long time residents called these condos home and are now displaced. Blaine County Charitable Fund is taking donations to assist those displaced. I have included a link below.
The Ross Fork Fire made a run toward Smiley Creek and Alturas Lake. Our friends were evacuated from the Alturas campground Sunday night and took the photo above. I have heard several cabins were lost in the fire last night. We will have smoky skies for the new few days due to this fire.
Real Estate
Active listings continue to rise and prices have stabilized. Pending sales are up as Buyers continue to see value Sun Valley real estate. Interest rates are predicted to rise soon, so Buyers may want to lock in their rate prior to the next hike.
