I snapped this picture from my skate ski at Sun Valley Nordic this morning. The trails are in excellent condition!

The Holiday season will be busy for our family. My son will be home from college for 5 weeks and I’m looking forward to catching up with him and his friends. My daughter and I are home this week but leave for alpine ski races next week in Steamboat Springs, returning on Christmas Eve. Luckily I did my shopping early and made reservations for my entire family at the Roundhouse on Christmas Day. My family can ski a few runs together and my parents can take the Gondola up to the Roundhouse to meet us. I’ll let you know how it goes and if it will become a Christmas Day tradition.

Sun Valley Round Up

Snow, snow and more snow! What a weekend for Sun Valley! Thirty plus inches of snow and more terrain has opened up on Baldy. The heavy snowfall created numerous avalanches throughout the valley and dangerous backcountry conditions. Overall the Sun Valley real estate market continues to slow. Pricing remains relatively steady with dollar volume and transactions decreasing and days on market increasing.
