Sun Valley Round Up

I took to the slopes on Christmas Day with my family and enjoyed lunch at the Roundhouse. Our early season storms have made for excellent skiing; until yesterday’s rain. Hopefully the snow forecasted later in the week will soften up the slopes.

A recent article in Mansion Global, “House Hunters Hoping for Steep Price Cuts Next Year Are out of Luck” discussed predictions for the 2023 housing market nationally.

Despite rising interest rates, currently sitting around 7%, home prices are not expected to decline throughout the US. Realtor.com is forecasting a 5% rise in median home prices over 2023.

Experts predict a rise in housing inventory, so Buyers can expect less competition and more options. Overall, 2023 is predicted to be “slow” regarding the housing market.
