Real Estate Numbers
We continue to move toward a balanced market. Our sales volume to date is down 40% from 2021. We are gaining inventory and Buyers are gaining power.
I anticipate mortgage interest rates to continue to rise which primarily affects Buyers for single family homes in Hailey and Bellevue.
Interestingly, jumbo loan rates are currently LOWER than standard mortgages. I have also heard lenders are buckling down on loans for second homes and income properties making them more difficult to obtain.

It is hard to believe summer is coming to an end. Local schools resume classes next week and the summer event schedule is winding down. I look forward to sneaking in some big hikes in the fall before the snow flies. Hopefully I’ll have some good pictures to share soon!
